the advancing Guitarist with STEPHEN MAGNUSSON. hosted by Lucas Michailidis.

Many thanks to yourself and Stephen for presenting a truly mind blowing workshop.
— Terry Costello (previous participant)

This all day long guitar lab offers a rare opportunity to experience the landmark book through the lens of Stephen Magnusson. During the last thirty years, Magnusson has diligently applied himself to the material and in the process has developed into one of this country's most distinctive voices on the instrument.

This workshop will not present a methodology - given that would be at odds with the book's ethos, instead, an inspiring insight into how one exceptional player has harnessed and exploited this material for his own musical ends.

Participants are encouraged to bring guitars and copy of the book. Topics covered will include:

SATURDAY OCTOBER 21st October (9:30-5:30PM) MELBOURNE POLYTECHNIC 144 HIGH ST PRAHRAN.

THE ADVANCING GUITARIST by mick goodrick TURNED THE GUITAR FRATERNITY ON IT'S HEAD. THIRTY YEARS ON, IT CONTINUES TO HOLD CURRENCY AND INSPIRE LEGIONS OF PLAYERS AROUND THE GLOBE.
