Now in it’s third year, this all day long guitar lab offers a rare opportunity to experience the landmark book through the lens of Stephen Magnusson. During the last thirty years, Magnusson has diligently applied himself to the material and in the process has developed into one of this country's most distinctive voices on the instrument. 

This workshop will offer an inspiring insight into how one exceptional player has harnessed and exploited this material for his own musical ends.

Participants are encouraged to bring guitars and copy of the book. Topics covered will include:

As a part of the Katie Noonan trio Elixir, the ensemble won the ARIA for Best Jazz Album in 2011.
